Privacy Policy

Version 2, October 6, 2026.

This policy explains which personal data Instituto Vida Preventiva processes through this website, for what purpose and what your rights are, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, LGPD).

1. Who is responsible for the data

The controller is Instituto Vida Preventiva, a non-profit civil association, CNPJ 63.693.158/0001-04, with its registered office at Rua Sagarana, 80, Jardim Panamá, Campo Grande (MS), Brazil, ZIP 79113-184.

Data protection officer: Bruno Renato Matos Machado, at contato@institutovidapreventiva.org.br.

2. Which data we process and why

Form on the IVP Ecosystem page. When you use the form, we receive the name, email address and message you write. We use this data only to reply to you. The legal basis is the institute's legitimate interest in replying to those who contact it (art. 7, IX). Please do not send information about your health or anyone else's: the institute does not provide health care and does not answer requests for diagnosis or clinical advice.

Email and WhatsApp. If you write to the email address or WhatsApp number shown on the website, we receive the data you send and use it only to reply. WhatsApp is a third-party service with its own privacy policy.

Visit measurement. With your authorization, we use Google Analytics to learn, in aggregate, how many people visit the website, which pages are viewed and from what kind of device and approximate region the visits come. This tool stores cookies in your browser. The legal basis is your consent (art. 7, I). Without your authorization, these cookies are not stored. You may withdraw your authorization at any time through the "" link in the website footer.

Ad measurement. The institute promotes the website through ads on Google Search. With the same authorization, when you reach the website through one of these ads, the website stores a cookie with the click identifier and tells Google Ads, through Google Analytics, whether a contact channel (WhatsApp, email or form) was clicked. This is used only to know whether the ads work. The content of messages is not sent, and the institute does not use this data to show you personalized ads. The legal basis is your consent (art. 7, I).

Technical access logs. As with any website, the hosting service records technical data about visits, such as IP address, date, time and page accessed, for the operation and security of the website. The legal basis is the institute's legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and running (art. 7, IX).

3. Who the data is shared with

The institute does not sell or transfer personal data. The data is processed, on the institute's behalf, by the providers that make the website and email work:

  • Formspree, which receives the form and delivers it to the institutional email;
  • Google, for the institutional email, Google Analytics and Google Ads;
  • Vercel, which hosts the website.

These providers may store data outside Brazil. In such cases, the international transfer follows the cases set out in art. 33 of the LGPD.

4. How long we keep the data

Messages received through the form, by email or by WhatsApp are kept for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the contact, and are then deleted, unless the law requires them to be kept. Visit measurement data is kept in Google Analytics for the shortest retention period the tool offers.

5. Your rights

You may ask the institute, at any time, for:

  • confirmation that we process your data;
  • access to it;
  • correction;
  • anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data;
  • portability;
  • deletion of data processed with your consent;
  • information about who it has been shared with;
  • withdrawal of consent.

These rights are set out in art. 18 of the LGPD. To exercise them, write to the data protection officer at contato@institutovidapreventiva.org.br. You may also file a petition with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

6. Cookies

The website only uses visit measurement and ad measurement cookies, and only after your authorization. Declining does not prevent you from browsing.

7. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the data received is restricted to those who need it to reply to the contact.

8. Children and adolescents

The website is not directed at children and adolescents, and the institute does not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top.
